Lovely old hotel with large private terraces for each room. Freshly cooked breakfast is brought to your room (but you don’t get to choose what it is).

Kommer gärna tillbaka
Hotel Belmondo ligger i direkt anslutning till den gamla venetianska hamnen i Chania, perfekt med närhet till såväl sevärdheter som restauranger. Personalen är mycket vänlig och hjälpsam på alla sätt. Det är ett mycket litet hotell med en personlig och behaglig atmosfär. Jag har varit här förut, och kommer med all säkerhet tillbaka.

Excellent property, beautiful views from our terrace, great breakfast with one delicious hot item. Right on the harbor, great dining options. Within a block there’s Namaste India restaurant just in case. Excellent front desk. We had a rental car. Parking is impossible. When I asked owner he gave me “Talos Square “ free parking. We drove for hour to find parking. Actually paid parking is even closer and 10 euros per night and readily available. Other than this recommendation it’s 5 *.

We had a very nice stay, great staff and service. From the arrival attention was great and Breakfast was really nice. The hotel is conveniently located for dinning, shopping, taking boat tours and visiting the harbour. Very charming place and well mantained. Not related to the hotel but something to consider if you are renting a car, the parking around the area is crowded and the walking with the luggage from the parking to the hotel could be difficult.

A boutique hotel in an excellent location for Chanda old town with stunning views over the harbour. The staff are professional and friendly and nothing was too much trouble, the hosts (Dora and Effie) were outstanding.

Excellent location. The balcony suite was perfect, lovely breakfasts on the balcony overlooking the bustling harbour. The staff were fantastic and gave great restaurant recommendations. A perfect holiday!

Great Accommodation
One of the best hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. They’re rated four-star quality, I would say they are four-star plus quality. Very friendly staff, excellent service and served breakfast was exceptional. I highly recommend them as a place to stay when in Chania, Crete.

What a great location and great view of the harbor from our balcony. Excellent service and helpful and friendly concierge. Hotel lobby closes at 9pm. We arrived later than that but everything was waiting for us. Parking is not easy in this area but the charming pedestrian historic location is worth the extra effort! Love this location and this hotel! Great breakfast served in the room/balcony as well! Thank you for everything Belmondo!

Belmondo top hygge
Belmondo Hotel ligger lige ved den hyggelige havn i Chania. Værterne og personale meget venlige og imødekommende. Værelset var stort og nyrestaureret med fantastisk badeværelse. Super morgenmad med friskpresset juice, æg, brød, kage, græsk yoghurt og frugt mm. hotellet ligger lige ud til en af de smalle gamle gader. Kommer gerne igen.

We were here briefly as we made our way across Crete. The staff was so kind to make arrangements with us to get us in after hours. We slept hard, and left early. The place is very cute, and the location was amazing.

This hotel is beyond amazing. The staff, including Dora, Vasiliki and the lady who does the cleaning (sorry, I do not know her name) are all absolutely lovely. The rooms are beautiful, the view astounding and the breakfast phenomenal. It sets you up for the whole day! This is truly a wonderful find and I know we will be back.

Die Dachterasse mit Blick auf den venezianischen Hafen und das Meer sind überwältigend. Das freundliche und überaus hilfsbereite Personal gibt sehr gute Restaurantempfehlungen und serviert ein abwechslungsreiches Frühstück auf das Zimmer. Das Parken am Rande der Altstadt war im Oktober kein Problem.

Fabulous hotel with helpful staff, great breakfast & beautiful view of the harbor from the balcony rooms. We stayed 4 nights & loved every minute! Dora was fantastic & helped us sort Samaria Gorge trip, beach club and a private boat to visit Bali’s and other beautiful beaches & coves! Would stay here again! Great location, close to everything!

Chania is a magical place and the hotel is located at the center of old town. Staffs are friendly and helpful. In-room breakfast was served very morning. The only thing need to be aware of staying at the hotel is that driving in the old town is not allowed and the free public parking lot is about 5 minutes away. Before your arrival, ask the hotel is give you detailed information. It’s an easy walk but the parking lot is usually full starting early evening as people from surrounding areas eating and visiting restaurants and shops in the old town.

Very nice
Very good hotel right in the heart of old town area. Challenging to find parking anywhere close by but hotel was worth it. Exceptionally friendly service, very nice room, and very good breakfast.

We spent four nights here. The hotel is well located one block from the harbour. The private terrace where breakfast was brought each morning was a wonderful feature. The breakfast was different every day with a good variety of breads, fruits and yogurt among the offerings. Wonderful women working the reception desk, very helpful and pleasant.

Perfect Spot
Wonderful location in the heart of Old Town. The staff was friendly, helpful and always greeted us with warmth. They brought us a drink and treat as we checked in. Tons of shops and restaurants steps away and the port is literally around the corner. Made our trip to Chania better than we expected.

Hyggelig og sentralt
Lite og hyggelig hotell med glimrende beliggenhet rett ved den venezianske havnen. Standard dobbeltrom ganske lite, men med balkong. God frokost, som man kunne få servert på rommet om dette var ønskelig. Svært hyggelig og personlig betjening.

素敵な景観つきホテル
ベルモンドホテルは Chania 町での港海岸線に沿った位置にありました。 朝や夕方は、それぞれの時間帯に沿った港そして海の景色が部屋から見られ、疲れていた気分を一新できました。私は空港(夕方６時前に到着)からホテルまではタクシー(事前にホテル側に頼んでいただきました)を利用しましたが、ホテルの方が通りで向かえに来られていてスーツケースを持って運んでくれて助かりました。フロントの対応は大変フレンドリーで気持ちが和みました。部屋は上記の通り、オーシャンビューでした。周辺には飲食店が多く、便利でした。シャワーも周辺がプラスチック製まどで、囲めましたので、よくある不快(水がもれて後で拭く作業)なものがなく、良かったです。朝食は十分なほどのパンやゆで卵など美味しかったです。 宿泊料金を考えると強く薦めたいと思います。
