Very nice property, but only a few maintenance related items. The first night my tv did not work. A cable was changed but this should be check as part of room readiness. Also, my phone did not work and the AC condensate drips continually when it is on so the living room floor pools with water. I reported all 2@4 items for correction.

Un hôtel parfait avec une mention spéciale à l’accueil de Dimitri et surtout aux deux personnes qui nous ont servis les soirs au restaurant. Une gentillesse hors norme. Le restaurant est également absolument parfait. Bravo, on reviendra dans votre havre de paix avec une vue magnifique.

We had a great time at this hotel. Everything was great, including the service and comfortable rooms. Al the staff members are amazing and extremely accommodating. We wished the hotel had a spa and a faster wifi, but it was not a deal breaker.

This is an absolute must-stay property. It is gorgeous, the rooms are impeccably clean and modern with so many small touches. The staff is beyond compare and made us feel like family. The food is amazing and the free breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We loved every aspect of our stay and will stay here again if the opportunity allows. Splurge for the suites with the private pool if you can. You will not regret it, I promise.

The staff here (Demetrios especially) get an A for warmth and hospitality. The hotel itself is beautiful, with an amazing view of the hillside below and sea, off in the distance. We loved the private hot tub and delicious food, and sweet personal note greetings/farewell as well as a daily sweet treat in our room. The only thing that could have made it better was if there was a courtesy shuttle that brings you down to the beach/town--even if there was a small charge. Since the customers are generally from out of town, we would need an umbrella/chairs/blanket etc. I think most people would be willing to rent them for the day so that could help offset the shuttle. It's too far to walk and carry so much and climb back up the big hill at the end of the day and going into town with a private taxi gets pricey. Just an idea. Anyhow, we loved our stay there!

The hotel is amazing, the rooms incredible! Book the couples massage, they take place one after the other and when it's your partner's turn you get the nicest pool at hotel all to yourself! 10/10

wonderful suite with private pool excellent design of the new area - pool bar and restaurant in the new area are not open yet - breakfast does not match the quality of the new hotel facility But we are sure it will be a fantastic place once the whole new area is open next year! Highly recommended!

La suite était très belle et conforme aux photos. L’hébergement était propre et le personnel toujours souriant et aimable. Malheureusement la nourriture n’était pas à la hauteur du reste de l’hôtel. Emplacement compliqué si nous n’avons pas de voiture, à 25 min du centre. Je vous conseille de prendre une voiture de location. Le seul petit problème était que la piscine aurait dû être un peu plus chaude.

Hôtel propre et magnifique. Personnel adorable qui n'ont eu de cesse de petites attentions tout le séjour. Petit déjeuner buffet vaste et varié. Les piscines sont magiques, mon compagnon m'a demandé en mariage où il a y la plus belle vue du coucher de soleil, et quel spot ! Nous reviendrons encore merci

The rooms were stunning, we had a private pool and it was so worth it! The views from everywhere in the hotel are gorgeous. Clean rooms, luxurious and comfortable! The only downside is that it is away from the main city but we were ok with that since we mostly wanted to have a relaxing couple of days before the next leg of our honeymoon! Highly recommend :)

Un personnel au top, d'une très grande gentillesse. Un lieu magique, calme et de toute beauté. Des chambres suites somptueuses sans vis à vis. Des transats en nombre, pour tous et hyper confortables. Des lieux et des infrastructures magnifiques, du grand luxe, tout en simplicité. Piscines au top, salle de sport géniale, petits déjeuners aussi. Sans oublier le spot du coucher de soleil, extra ! Prévoir cependant une location de voitures pour s'échapper quelques heures de ce paradis... Les plages à proximités étant petites...

I woke up to birds, sheep & beautiful sunrises over the sea of Crete. The majestic landscape, the friendliness/attentiveness of the staff, and the thoughtful layout of the entire resort beg you to sit, relax, swim, eat, drink, and savor every moment at this magical little place. I rented a car and explored as much as I could but I could easily have spent days watching the sunlight reveal shades of blue I’ve never seen before from a chaise near one of the many pools. What a gift the Happy Cretin shares!

Empfehlenswert
Die Hotelanlage (alter Teil) ist in die Jahre gekommen; alles perfekt, aber ein kleines „update“ wäre nicht schlecht;-). Wir waren in den neuen Suites untergebracht. Da diese erst vor kurzem in Betrieb genommen wurden, funktionierten einige Details noch nicht so reibungslos. Sämtliche Beanstandungen wurden jedoch sofort an die Hand genommen und in Ordnung gebracht. Aufgrund der neuen Suites erhöhte sich natürlich auch die Anzahl der Gäste. Das Restaurant-Personal war noch nicht so auf das „Gäste-Volumen“ eingestellt (insbesondere beim Frühstück). Aber, das muss erwähnt werden, waren bzw. sind die Angestellten sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend!! In ein paar Wochen soll die neue Anlage fertiggestellt sein; neuer Frühstücksbereich, Pool-Bar, etc.. Sodann kann das Hotel als wahres Schmuckstück bezeichnet werden; inkl. top Aussicht aus etwas erhöhter Lage auf das Meer!

Everything about this property was perfect. The staff were all lovely, the people were nice and the view was absolutely beautiful during the day and at night. The food was delicious and the room was cleaned & spotless everyday. The staff were always ready to help at all times. The location was great, very relaxing and close to the beach where there was also many restaurants & cafes. Such a lovely place that made our trip unforgettable. I highly recommend.

Athen beraubender Kurzurlaub. Das Hotel Word familiär geführt, was man überall merkt. Alles sehr sauber, designvoll eingerichtet und Gastfreundschaft wird groß geschrieben. Super nett und zuvorkommend. Täglich eine kleine Süßigkeit mit der Wettervorhersage des nächsten Tages auf dem Zimmer.

A truely wonderful experience at Happy Cretan Suites. The staff were excelent and welcoming from time of arrival to our departure. The rooms clean, well maintained, and comfortable with attention to the little details. The hotel restaurant prepared a delicious meal, glad we made the choice to dine at the hotel. We would absolutely recommend this location and plan to stay here again on our next visit to Crete.

Fantastisch ! Das Happy Cretan Suites kann man wärmstens jenen empfehlen die einen Entspannten und erholsamen Urlaub sich sehnen. Die Suiten sind wunderschön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet . In den Kingsizebetten schläft man wie auf Wolke 7 . Die Zimmer und Sanitäranlagen sind so sauber und werden jeden Tag gereinigt das man sich wirklich wie zuhause fühlt . Das Personal ist sehr nett und liest einem wortwörtlich von den Augen was man möchte . Der Inhaber Dimitrios ist sehr open mind und hat ein spitzen Konzept umgesetzt das wirklich einmalig ist. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist wirklich sehr breit gefächert jeden Tag frisch zubereitet und sehr reichhaltig ! Es ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei . Es gibt absolut gar nichts zu bemängeln und unser Aufenthalt war einfach traumhaft. Wir können wärmstens das Happycretan Suites weiter empfehlen ❤️ Und möchten uns an das ganze Personal für unseren wunderschön erholsamen Aufenthalt bedanken ! Das einzig sichere ist das wir wieder kommen werden 😍🇬🇷

Neben der überdurchschnittlichen Sauberkeit und Hygienemaßnahmen um Rahmen der Pandemie (Ende Mai 21) hat uns die trotz allem herzliche Gastfreundschaft des familiär geführten Hotels beeindruckt. Kein Fünf-Sterne-Blimblim, sondern alles, was einen entspannten Urlaub ausmacht. Gute Mountainbikes zum 2 km-entfernten Strand kostenlos, ansonsten Mietauto zu empfehlen (zum Überlandbus an der Bundestrasse sind es so 3 km). Wir würden sofort wieder hin gehen!
