We have stayed at The Blue Spruce on 2 separate occasions. The rooms are always immaculate and are cleaned promptly each morning. Swimming pool towels and guest laundry are available at the motel which is always well received. The swimming pool was always clean with ample loungers and chairs. Continental breakfast is offered each morning and the selection is vast - from cold meats to fresh fruit. The owners were extremely friendly and offered lots of advise on local attractions and restaurants....

Genuinely lovely stay at this hotel.
Very close to the harbour with lots of restaurants and boat trips (whale watching recommended!).
Staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was large, clean and well maintained. Bathroom was spacious with a large shower.

We’ve just returned from a road trip of the area and stopped at this hotel on our last night. It’s slightly outside Plymouth so not within walking distance of the historic attractions but we knew that when we booked and there are plenty of places to eat close by in the evenings. The hotel itself was very good, nice new rooms that are extremely clean. The staff were so friendly and breakfast the next morning was a very pleasant surprise.
