"Wonderful stay in a perfect location. Very nice NY authentic feel hotel but didn’t feel old or dated. My only suggestions would be to open the bar earlier and serve some food outside of breakfast. I specifically looked for a bar and on site restaurant when booking and the hours were extremely limited once I arrived on property."

"We stayed three nights and had an excellent experience. Jeff met us in the lobby and attended to our luggage immediately while also arranging for the taxi ride back to the airport at the end of our stay. The hotel staff was very communicative by text and addressed our concerns professionally and promptly. We will definitely be back ASAP. 5 of 5 stars!!!"

"Room brings back nostalgia. We stayed in Ernest Hemingway’s inspired room and I’m so surprised by the transformation they made. Most of the place that you would want to visit in NYC is within its vicinity. The subway stations are near. Unfortunately, our terraces are closed due to ongoing exterior façade maintenance required by New York City which is understandable. Highly recommended if you’re staying in Mid Manhattan. For history buffs famous actress Marilyn Monroe and her husband Baseball Player Joe DiMaggio stayed here for a while."

"The property is well located, the staff was friendly. Breakfast was not the best option considering its cost. The room was clean and well maintained. Great option to spend your vacations at the city."

"We really enjoyed this hotel. The location was great in order to get everywhere you needed to go. Our only complaint is there were about 34 floors and only 2 working elevators so just to get up or down to the room sometimes took up to 15 minutes. Consider that if you have places to be at certain times."
