Would not stay here again.
We knew the man who was brought in to make this a 4 star hotel yrs ago. He would be appalled at the decline. It is currently an overpriced 2 1/2 -3 star hotel based upon our comparison experiences around the country in other hotels. Dirty carpets and gunky tile in public areas. Moldy shower, cracked tile, brick wall view, and chipped woodwork in the room. We expected better for $340/night.
Check-in staff on 12/31/25 were great. In fact all staff were super nice except for short haired older lady who seemed to have the job of walking around annoying people. She was rude to us as we walked by her for check in and then again hours later when we were standing at the 2nd floor (empty) visiting area rail overlooking a very crowded bar area that lacked proper seating accommodations. She actually walked up and said “You need to move along”… what??? Why??? Very odd individual. I don’t recall ever encountering such a strangely rude employee in any hotel anywhere before. There were 4 of us and the other three were even more offended than me by her behavior.
There are much better choices in downtown Greenville. Skip this one.
