"We read that this hotel was rated "Wonderful" before we booked our reservation. After our experience, we would have to agree. Mgmt was so kind and genuine, not phony. They were ethical people. The breakfast was one of the best. Good quality: Many foods were organic, they didn't have to be. The yogurt was a top brand, loaded with protein. The management, being reliable and trustworthy, went beyond what was necessary. We didn't have to worry that the sausage was ground up .........? The room was clean, odor free, easily temperature controlled. Bathroom...clean, shower also. Didn't find a thing wrong. During a heavy rain of almost 7 inches, the owner offered his own umbrella til I could get my car under the overhead. We told him we definitely will be back. He looked "genuinely" happy. Oh, and attention to details...hand sanitizer at EACH elevator. And my wife, who can be picky about beds and bedbugs, found ours spotless and in the morning she said it was so comfortable...a king. The owner seemed to care about people, rather than making some money. That's what I found to be so refreshing...a downright kind person."

"This location and its history made this Inn a great stopover night for us as we travelled down the East Coast. The scenery is beautiful and the staff are helpful and friendly. This would would be a great place to meet with family members and/or friends to enjoy sharing a cottage (with 6 rooms and a common area) to enjoy a few nights or week together. There is a lot to do in the area and the porch of the cottage lends itself to just sitting and admiring the natural surroundings, especially the lake!"
