"Martino made this hotel experience wonderful, and his knowledge and passion for the history of Matera are impressive. The hotel is located at the top of a hill, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, with views of the gorgeous canyon. Our room was nice and clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay at L'antica Conceria."
"We stayed here for one night. Pre check-in information was excellent. We were directed to a car park just 5 mins walk to the accommodation. On arrival Francesco was super helpful telling us the top sites to visit and giving us restaurant recommendations.
The breakfast was delicious, the best we’ve had so far on our trip. All in all a wonderful stay in a beautiful cave. Highly recommended! Thank you both "
"Our room was beautiful, on two levels with a balcony in front looking towards the centre of old Matera.
Breakfast included a variety of Continental options. They even prepared breakfast for us on the last day, when we had to leave early.

The staff were super helpful reaching out prior to check in to coordinate arrival but also shared many great links to current events, restaurants, things to do etc. The room and shower were lovely, clean and spacious. The location could not have been better.
