"Inhaberin super freundlich, macht alles möglich, spricht super Englisch. Unterkunft war wie beschrieben mitten in der Natur und sauber. Wir hatten noch zusätzliche Moskitonetze, die wären aber nicht unbedingt notwendig gewesen. Sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen waren ausgezeichnet. Wichtig zu wissen: für die Anfahrt lieber einen SUV oder 4x4 nehmen und unbedingt die „richtige“ Straße nutzen, nicht den direkten Google Maps Weg vom Nationalpark. "

"I can't say enough for what a great time we had at Kakao Lodge. I was skeptical at first since I usually like staying in my chain hotels that provide all the normal American comforts. But after staying here, my mind has totally changed. You can't describe how awesome it is to be able to see a half dozen different species of exotic frogs at night, or a sloth while eating breakfast, or tropic birds singing to you in the morning. "The room was clean and spacious. The property is amazing with nature trails right outside your cabin and a beautiful garden with a talking parrot. The hotel/restaurant also has a few chickens and a turkey. The food at the restaurant was so authentic and some of the best food we ate in Costa Rica. I definitely recommend the tilapia. We ate at the restaurant for 3 of the 4 meals that we had when we were in the area because of how good and convenient it was. Would definitely recommend to anyone...

"Honestly, Senora Elma was amazing to my children and I. Although many of the staff we encountered did not speak our language, they were patient with us and did not make us feel uncomfortable. There are many attractions close by, as well as food options. Breakfast is included, ans they were willing anf able to accommodate us with our plant-based meals. The pool was not avaolable for use, but there were so many other things to do. The staff even offered to take us to the attractions. Please note...

"Eine wirklich sehr schöne Unterkunft, mit tollem Ausblick. Die Betten waren bequem und es gab eine kleine Küche. Das Frühstück war das Beste auf unserer bisherigen Rundreise. Der Besitzer bringt jeden Abend einen Mix aus verschieden Essen. Sehr abwechslungsreich und richtig lecker. Bei uns gab es von traditionellen Frühstück bishin zu Sandwiches, overnight oats, Obst, Semmeln, Toastbrot, Marmelade, Joghurt, Milch… echt top.
