"To say the least my stay at this resort was an experience! Let me start by saying the pros are the servers at the buffet & the lovely lady that cleaned my room. Vanessa, Marcos, Katherine and Jose were attentive, very friendly & made my daughter’s 12th birthday special! FOOD 4/10 we were given Sunny delight as orange juice. The passionfruit was from a water down machine. I wasn’t sure what parts of chicken I was eating. Ham questionable steak questionable and the Dominican food was not Dominican food. I was absolutely disappointed. Also having to go off the resort to eat some decent food NOW with that being said…this is not my 1st all inclusive resort; so my expectations & my experience fell extremely short! Before leaving NY i learned i would need an extra day stay at the resort due to my flight being canceled. I was told this would not be a problem. Upon check I informed Juan at the checkin desk of this; once again I was told no problem but I would have to pay the extra day stay upon checkout. The day before my checkout on the day, I was actually supposed to check out. I was automatically checked out of my room when I went to the front desk after tryingthree time to get into my room, I was then told I was checked out and had to pay a late checkout fee! There was a lot of back-and-forth until I did not pay the checkout fee. What was that back into my room after two hours no compensation I felt unheard and disregarded. I would not be returning to this resort."

"The size of the space and the amazing view were stunning, the bedrooms were large with clean comfortable beds, but it quickly became obvious that many important details needed attention. The WiFi password was not available without calling service desk. The television in the living room had a malfunctioning remote and the cable service remote did not work at all. The television in the bedroom would turn on but had no inputs and no antenna. The bathrooms had limited light and and unknown residue all over the shower floor. The exhaust fan in the master bathroom on automatically with the bathroom light was extremely loud. The air conditioning in the living room did not work. Luckily the beautiful sliding doors could be opened to allow in a significant breeze until a repair tech arrived. There is were also a few roaches. Finally, it is just my opinion but aluminum cookware and a four cup coffee pot are probably not a good choice. Need better frying pans and a 12 cup coffee maker. Number of dishes, glasses, cups and silverware was excellent!!!"
