First time in Guilin and this hotel has offered its best to us. Room was very spacious. Staffs were very helpful which made our stay even better. Minute walk to 步行街 with lots of shops and dining option. Will definitely book again.

It’s a nice hotel, and the staff is great. However, with no air conditioning in the room, temperature control is nearly impossible. You are either hot with the windows closed, or cold with them open, while the traffic noise disturbs your sleep

Very nice hotel with great staff, but English is barely spoken by one person at the front desk. If you don't speak Chinese, you'll have a tough time, but you can get by with a translator. Conveniently located to dining and a couple of tourist attractions. Breakfast buffet included a good variety of western and Chinese choices. It's a comfortable choice, except that the room had no air conditioning. I'm thinking they just don't let it run in February, so the room was always hot, unless a window was opened. They did help with a fan, though.

Wir kamen sehr spät an, da der Flieger Verspätung hatte. Beim Check In bekamen wir ein Upgrade und durften drei Nächte lang in der Suite mit zwei großen Schlafzimmern verbringen. Unser Zimmer war sehr ruhig, wobei wir uns vorstellen können, dass ein Zimmer zur Flussseite etwas lauter ist, weil dort viele Menschen spazieren gehen und Straßenmusiker ihre Lieder spielen. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und es gab alles von der traditionellen chinesischen Teasuppe bis zum kontinentalen Käse, Speck und Marmelade. Jeden Tag gab es zudem andere Spezialitäten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

My friend and I stayed here for a few days and received excellent service checking in and out. The location is excellent and is in very close proximity to the pedestrian street, Elephant Trunk hill, Sun and Moon Pagodas, etc. Due to increasing COVID cases in China, we wanted to check out early, and the hotel refunded our extra days without any problem. Almost all of the staff we interacted with spoke English and were friendly and helpful. If you want to swim, be sure to bring a swim cap - they very forcefully enforce this rule (another guest had a whistle blown at him repeatedly for trying to get in without one - could have been handled more professionally on the part of the pool attendant). Also, there were bats swooping around the pool in the evening - maybe it's better to swim during the day.

구이린 최고 위치/유명 호텔

위치가 좋고, 호텔은 지은지 오래되었으나 깨끗하게 관리되고 있는 편임. 수영장을 주로 즐겨 사용하는데, 수영장 락커 등이 조금 더러운 편이었음. 하지만, 전반적으로 계림(구이린)에서는 가성비가 좋은 호텔이라고 판단함.

Renovated

As of June 2021, the hotel is being renovated. Everything in my room was brand-new and spotlessly clean, and the carpets in the hallways had all been replaced very recently. My only complaint is that the bathroom lighting was a bit dark. Everything else was perfect.
