Beautiful Quiet spot.

Lovely little town. Cute hotel. Breakfast was a little steep at 15 Swiss Frank a person. Chose not to for that reason.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Sternen for one night, breaking out trip from Italy back to the U.K. The hotel is easy to find and street-parking is readily available. It's quite safe because the hotel is on a cul-de-sac (leading to the railway station). Our room was very clean but also quite small. Nevertheless, we had a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed. We had a nice dinner at the associated restaurant (attached to the hotel but run as a separate entity.

One of the best stays I have had with amazing customer service. Gentleman went above and beyond to accommodate our needs with children. Located in a very beautiful town which gives you the best morning scenes. Would love to stay here again whenever in the area.

Arrived late and staff were super welcoming. Able to eat at restaurant at the property which was good. We were on motorbikes and able to park in a secure garage 👍

Not happy with my stay

The only good thing about this place was the gorgeous city which deserves the visit. And the respectful gentleman at the reception. For the rest I don’t recommend the place. There room was too tiny for three people, the bathroom had a glass drawing door which was not nice and made people uncomfortable, the sink was clogged and even one glass to drink water was not provided in the room. The beds, pillows and blankets did not have any sheets. So it was not worth the price at all.

The hotel experience was fine with the exception of poor or lacking lighting. The restaurant, which is ran by others and a separate business was very disappointing. When it takes 1.5 hrs to get one plate of spaghetti something needs to change. We were not the only table affected. However, this problem with the restaurant does not reflect on the hotel itself.

We arrived at this property and both times we needed the reception it was unmanned. We were travelling with a 3 year old and a baby & were given a room on the top floor with no lift & no one offered to help us with luggage. It was fairly easy to park outside for free near the train station. Upon arrival in our room there was a musky smell, so we had to leave the windows open to air it out and left the water running in case it was the drains. We suspected it may not have been used for a while. They provided a free cot for our baby, but there was no kettle/fridge etc. breakfast was not included and the room cost circa 210 CHF for a single night. The gentleman at reception informed us about the park for our 3 year old which we visited. We unfortunately wouldn't choose to stop again. If you just want to bed down for the night then it's sufficient.
