Top Gwent Hotel Reviews

Delta Hotels by Marriott St. Pierre Country Club
8/10 Good
"As I have an immune disorder which means there are certain foods I can't eat I am always cautious when staying at a place for the first time, I have to say I had no reason to be as the staff were very reassuring and helpful, pointing out any possible triggers and reassuring me that what I eat was safe The room was clean as in hoovering, dusting and cleaning the bathroom but there were a couple of issues like skirting boards could do with a clean along with the windows in fact when the sun was on a certain angle you could see where someone had doodled on the window, nothing rude btw :-)"

The Coach & Horses Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Very good hotel. It was a Premier Inn, and some of the rooms are yet to be refurbished I think (including the one I stayed in) but it was still comfortable, clean and well equipped. The reception staff were very helpful friendly. The restaurant (seperate building) was excellent, good choice of food for dinner, reasonably prices, and very tasty. I ate there 3 nights out of the 4 I stayed. Didn't have the opportunity to try the breakfast sadly. Would happily stay here again."

Holiday Inn Express Newport by IHG

Llechwen Hall Hotel
8/10 Good
"Lovely hotel is a beautiful and peaceful setting above the South Wales valleys. Rooms are spacious and wonderful outside spaces and views. Food and drinks were good although we only had drinks and breakfast here. Would visit again and some of the events spaces looked excellent for conferences and celebrations."

Bryn Meadows Golf, Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"I fled from a domestic altercation. The staff ensured my safety and identity was protected and went over and above to ensure my needs were met. I can’t thank them enough for the professional compassion, humanity and kindness I was afforded. My room was a beautiful safe sanctuary , the hotel was a place to heal and recover in the spa pool and to relax on the balcony soaking up the sun fresh air and wonderful vista."

Coldra Court Hotel by Celtic Manor
8/10 Good
"The room was clean but a few issues I found brown marks on the door frame of the bathroom maybe make up ? Also on the table there was stain drink cup marking and the shower glass has all marks on it there was cobwebs around lamps and bedside lampshades was dusty dirty and marked and one lamp didn’t work. The staff was lovely very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely shame there was no tomato’s and only fault was the orange juice was warm. And staff was a bit slow at putting new fruit and bread out. Parking was fine but said the car park was full when there was many spaces. My only issue was as check out time and check in time because if your staying for one night your not getting a full 24 hours at the hotel to enjoy it. And due to the England game being on it was a late night. Check out should be change or at least check in so your able to enjoy the hotel"
