"I would have given this hotel 5 stars with the exception of the dining staff not being particularly attentive otherwise 5 stars all the way. We loved the Nespresso Coffee in the room. So nice not to have to dress and find coffee in the morning. Also the hotel has a lovely outdoor veranda where you can dine or just relax with a class of wine."

"This hotel is ideally situated for people wanting to walk around what’s on offer in the Nova Scotia. However, it is a little dated and it’s quite noisy in the rooms most of the rooms face onto the front of the street and starting very early in the morning. There is a lot of truck traffic as the containers are being offloaded at the docks very nearby. I don’t think asking for another room would’ve made any difference as the majority of the rooms seem to face the same way,if not, they are very close to the side road, so the noise would only be marginally lower. It might’ve been a nice touch to visitors if there was something in the rooms to let them know of sites worth seeing in the area, possibly some restaurants, cafés, or bars they may wish to visit. It’s quite an expensive hotel for what you get in my opinion"

"The hotel cost was reasonable and the staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning during our stay. There was a lot of variety and the staff at the restaurant were friendly and helpful as they ensured the food was always stocked up, and the tables were clean etc. The bathroom was small and lacked hooks and towel bars to hang towels and clothes. The pillows must have been brand new as they were very puffy and lofty?!? We used the laundry facilities which was okay and out in the basement area. One dryer was out of order and the other dryer was not great. Very busy as many people were doing laundry- more machines and better dryers would be good. It’s a hotel with good value for your $."
