Tahai Loft
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great stay for 6 days in Tahai loft. The room is spacious, clean with the stunning ocean view. Since there is a air conditioning in the room, we always felt fresh and comfortable. We can see the sunset Moai directly through the balcony. The staffs were very friendly and helpful during our stay, we were able to get all basic kitchen supplies for cooking simple breakfast and small meals. Everything looks exactly same as the pictures.
It locates a bit away from downtown, but we all loved it since it is more quiet. It was around 20 mins to get to the restaurant area, so not too bad for us. If you are looking for some quiet, clean place with best view, I would highly recommend here. "

Hotel Ohana
10/10 Excellent
"I loved staying here. The rooms are spacious and beautiful and I especially enjoyed the large balcony. The staff is excellent. The only negative is the location of the hotel which is far from town and isolated. The hotel will order you a taxi, though ($6-$8 one way to town) and respond very quickly on WhatsApp so it really wasn't an issue."

Taha Tai Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I stayed in a bungalow and it was steps from the restaurant with ocean views. Behind the restaurant was access to the main road that was a 10-15 minute walk to the middle of the town.
Staff was very friendly and the property was beautiful. "

Hare Nua
10/10 Excellent
"If we could give more stars here we would.
We honestly did not want to leave - it was a home away from home and only wish we could have stayed longer here.
The hotel is very clean and the owners very friendly. There is a nice Sauna you can book and breakfast was amazing! The little touches and notes from the owners really make this a truly special place. Thank you!

Hotel Teanehi
10/10 Excellent
"The house lobby and breakfast room are beautiful. The room was nice and spacious with a nice balcony and view of the water. They do offer scrambled eggs along with the cold meats and cheeses, fruits and yogurt.
Airport pickup was a plus."

Hare Rapa Nui by Chez Joseph
10/10 Excellent
"I love this hotel , it’s family owned and the owners are very nice people . The continental breakfast was great with variety of food to choose from . The rooms were clean, the AC and fridge worked well and there was plenty of hot water for shower . Each room had its own table in front with 2 chairs to enjoy the evenings on the island . The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels were provided. The hotel provides shuttle service from the airport when requested. We were greeted with leis made from local flowers . It was such a nice welcoming gesture . During the stay , the owners often gave us fresh fruits : mango , watermelon, maracuja and soft drinks free of charge . It is an excellent hotel . "

Tauraa Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay at Hotel Tauraa on Easter Island was truly exceptional and unforgettable.
From the very first moment, the owner/manager Wolfgang made us feel incredibly welcome. He personally greeted us, which already set the tone for the entire stay. His hospitality went far beyond expectations—he even helped us resolve and rebook our tickets, which could have easily become stressful without his support.
What really stood out was the level of personal care. Every morning, Wolfgang would bring us fresh apples—such a simple gesture, yet it made us feel genuinely cared for. It’s these small, thoughtful touches that make this place so special.
The breakfasts were absolutely amazing. Not just standard hotel food—each morning was a unique, custom-prepared experience. Everything was fresh, delicious, and clearly made with attention and pride.
This is not just a place to stay—it’s a place where you feel like a valued guest, not just a booking. If you’re visiting Rapa Nui, Hotel Tauraa is a hidden gem, and Wolfgang is the kind of host that turns a good trip into a truly memorable one.
Highly, highly recommended."
