"The service provided by the staff of Kandy City is excellent, the hotel itself is a little dated and the picture isn’t actually the hotel. But for a budget option my partner and I were happy. Breakfast was super filling and generous. The hotel is an awkward spot but a close enough walk to the lake and shopping areas."

"The homestay double booked my booking so I turned up and they had nowhere for me to stay. At 5pm I then had to try and find a room in Ella for the night, in peak season. Ended up staying in a dirty hotel as that was the only option left after 3 hours of searching, and got severely ill from the food there. My whole holiday was completely ruined thanks to Dimuthu homestay. Unbelievably unprofessional. DO NOT book here, it is not worth the risk."
