It was just as I expected. It was not noisy at all (being so close to Times Square).
I booked a room with a bunk bed and it was as small as shown in the pictures so definitely as expected.
Stay was comfortable.

My daughter and I had a trip to New York for our big birthdays, hotel was very central close to port authority, walking distance to time square and many other areas. Hotel staff made our visit special for us and are very helpful , friendly , professional and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. I would avoid 9th Avenue at night time as it didn’t feel very safe .

The Maritime is the perfect hotel for seeing the city, its clean, friendly staff and a decent continental breakfast, It is ideally situated for restaurants, coffee shops etc. The High Line and Little Island are close by. Unfortunately it doesnt have its own bar on site which was the only thing i would criticize. After being out all day it would have been nice to chill in a bar onsite rather than have to venture out again. We took advantage of the airport transfer service offered in the expedia...

Wonderful stay here for 4 nights with husband and daughter. We had a ‘two doubles’ room, which had lovely comfortable beds and little kitchenette with full size fridge. We enjoyed a lovely complimentary breakfast each morning with fruit, pastries, bagels, yogurt and granola. On an evening we went up to the rooftop terrace with a bottle of wine and enjoyed the amazing views and sounds of the city - and the location is excellent, couple blocks from Time square but didn’t feel noisy or busy. The hotel was a perfect base for visiting New York. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The refillable water bottle station by the lift and fridge in the rooms were a nice touch. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Nice and close to WTC subway/PATH. O’Haras bar just round the corner too!
