"Love how close the Bakehouse is to the Berrima cafes, restaurants and shops. Also love the access code instead of a card or key. The room is always cosy warm on arrival."

"Great bedding and bathroom, esp shower- best i have ever had. However we were expecting 2 bedrooms plus a living/eating area with a table Instead of a ledge. Instead we had to walk through our son’s room to get to ours. So not a 2br suite. We’ll read the specs more carefully in future. A mirror in the main bedroom would also be useful."

"Clean and spacious room. Parking was great right outside the room great for those with mobility constraints. Comfy bed and smart tv. Check in and out was easy and the staff were lovely."

"I had the top 2 bed cabin and there had clearly been a hole in the wall that had been patched but not painted. This is also clearly a place for workers and the worker next to me had really loud music throughout the night. Otherwise it was a lovely cabin with everything you could need. "

Unfortunately, none of that adds up to the sound of the raucous downstairs throbbing through our room constantly and at a decibel loud enough to be measured on the Richter scale until midnight…. I don’t have a problem with the club having a function and people having lots of fun- but maybe don’t sell the stay as a quaint and old-school relaxing retreat.
