"Conveniently located a 5 min walk from the train station, Hotel Butterfly met our needs for three adults in one room. The city is walkable in general or there are golf carts to drive you around if needed but it was certainly nice to be right next to the train. The hotel had a decent breakfast and to our delight, an afternoon tea with live music which we enjoyed after our day of hiking. There was no air conditioning so we had to leave the windows open at night and were awakened by the goats walking down the street at 6:00am, but other than that, we can't complain!"
"Overall great experience at Hotel Ambassador. The property is very neat and clean, and the staff is wonderful and helpful. Best of all, it's located right next to the train station, restaurants, and shopping market. Perfect place to stay in Zermatt!"
"The staff's attention was exceptional, and the hotel is located in a great place, the breakfast was very good, and the room they gave us was very nice with a view of the main street."
"My experience at this hotel was excellent. The hospitality staff demonstrated a high level of professionalism, efficiency, and warmth from check‑in to check‑out. The facilities were clean and well-kept, contributing to a comfortable and pleasant stay. I would gladly return and recommend this hotel to others seeking quality service."
"This is, basically, a backpacker's hostel or ski hostel. We had a room that slept four; it was clean, the beds were comfortable; there was a small terrace on which to sit. The first day we had breakfast in Hotel Simi, but the remaining two days was in the hotel. It was an alright breakfast. Hotel Simi had scrambled eggs and sausage; our hotel did not. The location was good - away from the main street, so it was quiet. It was a tad expensive for what we got for three nights, but it was probably the cheapest. Zermatt is very, very expensive."
"Good location, very friendly staffs, shuttle bus drivers are very helpful. Good breakfasts and good daily dinners menus. Nice balcony can watch Matthorn sunrise . Only a 3 minutes walk to the bridge for sunrise view. 5 minutes walk to Matthorn glacier paradise cable car station."
