"Staff and bar attendant were nice and helpful. The rooms were decent stayed 2 nights in two different rooms both bathrooms were dusty first room carpet needs better cleaning. The second room there were hair on sink, back of toilet and in shower needs better cleaning, beds were comfortable. I will return but will bring my own cleaning products to clean bathroom next time."

Omni William Penn Hotel

"The Omni William Penn was absolutely old school elegant. The property was gorgeous and well cared for. There was a reasonably priced parking lot which we selected instead of valet parking. The location was wonderful with many great restaurants nearby. It was our first visit to Pittsburgh and the Omni William Penn was one of the many highlights of our trip. Treat yourself to memorable elegance!!!!"

"Ahead of time I tried to reach the hotel to request a quiet room. After reaching some non-local office, they said they would email the front desk with the request. I received an email from a on-site person saying they would take care of it. When we arrived we were given a very non-quiet room: next to the elevator and right across from the ice machine. We had to return to the front desk for a change where I was told there was a note to not change the room. So it seemed like sadistic treatment."

"Computers were down when we checked in so a longer than normal wait. Room had a faint mold smell. Lots of construction in the area so the usually quick walk to the stadium was blocked. Valet was prompt. Would stay again."

"If you’re going to a beautiful place like Pittsburgh, you should not be spending a lot of time in your hotel room. This hotel was perfect for what I needed a comfy bed and a good free breakfast It’s the perfect hotel to explore PNC Park and Pittsburgh from, staff was friendly as well, and the rooms were clean. The pool was also pretty decent. if I return to Pittsburgh for baseball, I will most likely stay here."

"The late check in process is a nightmare for anyone over 60!!! I called the hotel in the afternoon & let them know that I would be checking in late and they said they would send me a link for a pre-arrival check list. I never received it. Then I arrived after 11 pm absolutely exhausted. I tried using My confirmation booking number & it said my booking could not be found. I then called the support phone number & it took over 25 minutes bc she get sending me codes that didn't work. She attempted to send my phone links that never appeared. Then we moved onto email links. Finally she was able to help me bypass the original method so I got checked in. I was completely exasperated!!! This is so incredibly difficult & frustrating when you are 60 years old and have to do this after spending hours that day traveling & going to a concert. Not to mention the damage deposit that is non refundable & this was mentioned no where on Expedia! Now the building was clean & very well maintained and the bed itself was super comfortable (although 60 year old + usually don't like sleeping that low) The room amenities were appreciated. The check out process went smoothly. I think you need to well advertise that these types of hotels are not ideal for older travelers!!! I wish I knew ahead of time bc I would have made it a priority to check in early with an actual person before the concert. The person on the phone I spoke to could have warned me but didn't ."
