"Pros. Nice clean room. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Garden tub was relaxing. Comfortable bed.Close to area attractions. Cons. Large shopping center parking lot in rear was very noisy at night. Kids hanging out and showing off their loud exhaust. The hide a bed couch was very uncomfortable to sit on and watch TV. The exhaust fan in bathroom did not work. Would definitely stay again."

"Front desk staff was great! Cleaning crew hangs out at the front of building smoking cigerettes amd complaining about who should be head cleaner. There is a sign about standing 25ft away when smoking outside, but they block the entrance and exit doors. They were yelling about quitting if things didnt change. It was unsettling to have to move around them and listen to their yelling and complaining, breathe in their cigerette smoke."

"The house is beautifully nestled in nature and, while it’s a bit of a drive from the New River Gorge, it’s ideally situated for exploring Summersville Lake. The construction doesn’t always have the most meticulous attention to detail, but what the property lacks in craftsmanship, it more than makes up for in thoughtful design, quality of light, character, and atmosphere. The house strikes a lovely balance between what feels like Nordic-inspired simplicity and warm, eclectic charm. If I had to describe the property in one word, it would be hygge—comfortable, inviting, unfussy, and designed around experience/presence. Array of amenities inclide: a static line, bonfire pit, espresso machine, impressive cooktop, rentable paddleboards, pool table, coin laundry, laundry chutes, and patio spaces. None of these feel particularly ornamental; together, they make the house feel more like a well-considered retreat than simply a place to sleep. We stayed in the suite, which was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out, as was the house as a whole. Ownership was approachable and responsive, which added to the ease and warmth of the stay. I’d recommend the property and would absolutely come back. It’s the kind of place that encourages you to linger a little longer—coffee in hand, somewhere between an adventure and an afternoon with a book."

"Room was very conveniently located close to my bike. Very comfortable and clean. Pool was not useable. Staff was excellent. Parking was very conveniently located close for access to room to unload luggage."
