"We had a very good stay on our trip for America's 250th Birthday.
The positives:
Staff is just amazing, pleasant, polite kind, informative. The very best staff in all of my travels. The location couldn't be better in the Black Hills. Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer, Hill City and Keystone all nearby.
The only minor negative is that our room needed a bit of an upgrade. The air conditioner is a small wall unit that barely gets the job done and the shower is older with a slow drain. Not a negative but it is important to note that there is no daily housekeeping. They have a system where you place dirty towels and such in a clothes basket along with a list of anything you might need- toiletries, bedding etc. Place this outside your door and they bring it back to your room promptly.
I would definitely stay again but this is not a "3 star" resort as advertised."
