"Do not rely on canceling online before deadline, Expedia showed the room was canceled but they did not honor it , make sure you call and ask for proof of cancellation otherwise the online portal will show the reservation active after couple days and charge your card , Expedia rep will deny liability. very bad experience with Expedia, don't rely on what is confirmed on the screen. "This place has had water damage or something. Smelled like mold when we walked in. foors we dirty, my nieces' socks turned black walking on the floor in her room. The shower had black mold. Chair in my room was stained and was afraid to sit on it. Did not check out the breakfast "

"Overall it was a nice stay. It's an older building so some things were to be expected. The tub wasn't draining but maintenance took care of it right away. The room was clean but the desk and chair needed to be wiped down. The heat knocked a little but it was nice and warm. The staff was friendly and accommodating and we were able to bring our dog along, so that was a big plus. "

"I was met by Jon at the front desk. He was very friendly and helped me out with an issue. All the staff were great and friendly! Room was awesome and place was clean. Breakfast area was kept clean and stocked. Coffee was amazing, freshly ground and available 24/7. Definitely recommend staying here."

"Room was in disrepair, cracked window that made it feel unsettling, lock was broken which didn't make us feel safe, as well as the shower was brutal, flooded the bathroom. Much needed repairs, wouldn't stay here again. "

"The Rosemont is a beautiful old B&B. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the proprieters were very helpful and available. The breakfast was nicely done and delicious. As with most older B&Bs it needs a little paint and repair and while I loved the clawfoot tub and the huge bathroom, it was a little rundown and rickety. I would still choose the Rosement over a soulless modern hotel, as long as you don't mind the tradeoffs."

"We were very disappointed that the hotel did not disclose ongoing renovations at the time of booking. The work was centered in the entrance lobby, making coming and going feel unsafe and hectic with our one-year-old. Between the loud construction noise and the overpowering paint fumes, it was not a suitable environment for a young child. Transparency is key, and we should have been given the chance to book elsewhere given the conditions."
