"This hotel really needs an update! Our sofa had a big tear in it. The shower curtains do not fit the showers and hang into the tub so much you have to walk on them. Great safety hazard! I talked to the manager who said, oh, yeah they're all like that. I won't even get into the noisy kids above us who played jump off the bed until after midnight."

"The staff’s customer service skills were exceptional, the room was clean and the ocean view was great. I booked for 1 night but decided to stay an extra night and was given the same room because the customers that booked my room decided they wanted a two queen bed room not the king room, so I got to keep the king room. The beach is a few feet away and there is a patio that faces the beach where you can sit and relax. I give Henlopen Hotel five stars plus and the bonus is it is clean...
