The Wolfeboro Inn
8/10 Good
"The hotel is in a great location, literally a two-minute walk to downtown Wolfeboro, which was definitely the biggest plus for us. Our room was clean, and our interactions with the front desk were perfectly fine. We did not eat at the hotel, so I can’t comment on the food. Our room, I believe #105, was right next to the check-in area and was a handicap-accessible room. The window was basically at ground level, and between that and the room lighting, it felt a little dark. The hotel does have a small beach area, but unfortunately it really wasn’t set up to be enjoyed. There were only about seven lounge chairs for the entire hotel, and they weren’t very comfortable. There were also three Adirondack chairs, one of which was broken. There were no beach towels or umbrellas available. Luckily, we had brought our own beach chairs, towels and umbrella. The area where the “pool toys,” floats, etc. were stored was locked, so none of those were available to use either. Just to clarify, there is no swimming pool at the hotel. There was also a firepit, but we were told it couldn’t be used due to fire department restrictions because of the dry conditions, which is obviously understandable. One thing that really surprised me was how much unused potential the hotel has. There is a good-sized porch off one of the function rooms that would have been a great place to sit in the morning with a cup of coffee, but there were no chairs or seating out there at all. Cold Spring Plymouth Resort
10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed our stay at Cold Springs. If you are a golfer, you would enjoy even more. The condos were dated but very clean. The people were very hospitable. The restaurant next door, PEM Burgers was great. We ate there 2 nights in a row. Would have been great to have a smart tv so we could have streamed but WiFi and cell service were adequate. Also make sure to bring all your toiletries as only hand soap provided. We would stay there again."
The Naswa Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Naswa has secured that this weekend at the lake will be annual. The location is perfect, walkable to Weirs, and the amenities are so wholistic you honestly don't have to leave if you don't want to."
