"My family of four had the pleasure of staying here and I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting much at first because it's called a lodge, but this place exceeded my expectations. Everything was clean, cute, and very well maintained. The beds were comfortable, which is important. Water pressure in the shower was excellent- something that definitely matters when you are traveling! The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better. They also offer a complimentary breakfast. It wasn't a huge spread but had everything you need to start your day- bagels, waffles, muffins and coffee. Be prepared to wait a few minutes because the breakfast is behind the desk where you are not allowed. The staff member will get you what you want. Overall, it was affordable, and enjoyable. If we ever travel back to Gainesville, we will stay here again, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Gainesville."

"The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice. They were very accommodating and asked if being around dogs would bother us. We said that it would be fine since we have a dog but we didn’t bring him with us this time. The sign at the entrance needs to be brighter since it’s fading some. It was a great stay and we will stay there again in the future."
