"The property itself is just as described with all amenities and conveniences for a luxurious short term stay. Our only complaint would be the constant gardening - sometimes during early morning hours. One other small issue - we paid extra for hotel access to the Mauna Kea and Hapuna hotels but the Hapuna was under massive construction with jack hammers etc, in hearing distance from the pool and beach. Needless to say, we didn't go there again during our stay."

"The condo was spacious for a family of 5. The kitchen contained everything you need to prepare any type of meal including the added benefit of some spices, seasonings, and plenty of pots and pans. The master bed was extremely soft such that it was almost impossible not to get sucked into it. Master bathroom was huge with 2 sinks, a large, jetted tub, and a very large shower. "This property was the favorite lodging of the trip. Amazingly, it was not full. It is within 100 yards of Hawi’s main attraction, Kohala Zipline. The main building forms a square around a lawn-dominated garden: A vintage roadside motel combined with a cloister. Good dining choices are within a short walking or a slightly longer driving distance. Nearby sights/sites of interest include Pololu Beach and two churches in a New England style, both of which look great in the tropical setting."

"Excellent service from the staff! Check in was smooth and we were greeted with lei, refreshments, and a towel. Yvonne, Chris, Linda, and Summer were great to chat with at Piko Bar in the evenings. Getting a pizza there before closing (9pm) was a nice late snack. Loved chilling at the adult pool. Dinner at Meridia was fantastic. Room Cleaning staff was so nice and gracious and worked with our schedule when we would be out of the room. Resorts grounds were immaculate! Would definitely visit again!"

"This was an amazing stay-cation!! From the beautiful property and the amazing rooms, the View, the rooms, the owners, the location, the entire stay was awesome!! Too short and I will definitely stay here again and again!! My family visiting from Montana, thought this place was just stunning and so did our local family!! Everything in the rooms and main house were fabulous!! Perfect location for going into Hilo town and definitely will look into a longer trip!! Thank you so much!!
