"Be aware that housekeeping does not enter your room for any reason (to make your bed, freshen the room, empty your trash) unless specifically requested. This wasn’t mentioned at check-in. Even if you leave towels on the floor as instructed, you still have to notify the front desk if you want fresh towels.
The room lacked basic amenities: no iron, ironing board, dresser. You want ice? You are out of luck unless the coffee bar downstairs is open.
Our bathroom was tight and in need of maintenance. The wall outlet was loose, the floor needed a deep cleaning, and a couple floor tiles had cracked grout and were lifting up.
About 15 minutes after checking in, I found a clearly used drinking glass in the bathroom. I brought it to the front desk and requested a replacement for the next day, but it never happened. Other than the small shelf above the sink, the bathroom has no storage space for toiletries.
I was told at check-in that splitting the bill between two cards would be “no problem.” At checkout, I was told “it couldn’t be done.”
Customer service was disappointing. The front desk staff seemed indifferent when I raised concerns."
