"The front desk staff when we checked in was so helpful and kind. The outside of the hotel was not updated but a wonderful perk is the vintage rose garden outside of the hotel. Absoulutely beautiful varieties of roses from so long ago. They were breath taking. I would return just to view and smell the roses again. Thank you Super 8!"

"The property was clean nice little town, the hotel was more a bed and breakfast. No amenities to offer , no staff on site past 7pm and no one arrives until 12pm. We were unaware and fortunate that we arrived early enough that someone was there to explain the system they use. Front door automatically locks and you need code. Same for room you need code. If no staff available you would have a hard time"

"I reserved a Basic Room, 2 Queen Beds for 2 nights, 34 days in advance. I paid $10 per night for the extra Queen bed, as I am a FEMALE travelling with a MALE first cousin. When we checked in, there was NO ONE in the office and we were told that the door was open and our key was in the room. We went in and discovered only ONE bed. So we called the number on the office door, and were told that the room with one bed is all they had available. If we wanted to wait until someone could come from...

"The positive: we liked the location. The negatives: the room had a strongly bad odor when we arrived and never got better. The bathroom floor and toilet were dirty. There was only one bracket where there was supposed to be a towel rack. Needs a new shower head(was not really adjustable) and shower curtain. It looked like they were attempting to fix up the front entrance with gardening items, but it was junky looking."

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was quite dated but clean. Refrigerator worked but it had to be held closed. There was no breakfast but the coffee in the lobby was good. There was no coffee makers in the rooms. Didn’t use the pool or hot tub. It wasn’t bad for a night or two. There were a couple restaurants right next to the motel but Iron ridge is a really small town so there isn’t much around there, including a breakfast restaurant. "Room was super clean! Great shower and bathroom set up! A/C was great! Only downside was the pool seemed like it needed to be cleaned a bit and breakfast was lacking pretty badly."

"We only stayed one night arrived quite late and left early.The staff was very outgoing, ready to accommodate anything that we would’ve needed or asked for. We left quite early in the morning, but they had coffee and crinkle ready at 6 AM. They helped carry our luggage to the car very helpful."
