"The hotel itself was a lovely, older former maternity hospital that has been extensively renovated. The room was a bit smaller than we anticipated however everything we needed was provided. The staff was excellent and readily available if we needed them. The patio doors led out to a spectacular view."

"Well-located in the Main Street of Raglan, Harbourview offers budget-friendly, no-frills accommodation. The pub itself is a beautiful old space with a great selection of food and drinks on offer and there was live music in the beer garden on Saturday night. Our room would have benefited from a few very basic amenities (bin, iron, coat hangers) to make our stay more comfortable. Be aware there was no taxi/ride share service in town at the time of our stay so we were entirely dependent on our hire...

"Our room was clean and comfortable, though the walls are papert hin and we could hear everything from the accommodation next door. The grounds needed some cleaning up as there was a big pile of rubbish at the gateway to the entrance of our accommodation and the laundry facilities were very dirty."

"Best motel we stayed in on our trip to NZ. Very clean. Fresh linen and towels. Very comfy bed - all amenities a traveller needs. "

"Friendly staff, nice room in general. Getting to the facility was difficult due to recent traffic changes. Despite instructions, I got lost almost every time returning to the room. Bed matress was very well worn, body indents present on each side, probably time for a refresh. Pillows were flat. Large roach in the shower and bug bites while in the room, hopefully just mosquitos."

"I didn't know that there is no staff onsite and that reception is at a different motel that is further than walking distance away. I found this out after I booked. The lights on the outside of the building and lack of good curtains meant that room 1 was not dark at night. I asked to be moved which the staff were happy to oblige.
