Hotel Telemaque Beach & Spa - Families and Couples Only
5/5 Excellent
"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is very nice, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. Overall, it was a fantastic experience—I only wish I could have stayed longer. I’ll definitely be returning!"

"Do not confuse 4* Tunisian with 4* UK or you will be bitterly disappointed. On arrival we were given a room in the hotel when I had booked a bungalow and had to go back to reception to ask to be moved to a bungalow. The hotel, bungalows and grounds badly need updating and the mattresses very firm leading to aching joints. Food not hot and very repetitive, drinks very limited and entertainment poor although this may be because it's low season. Staff ok but think they prefer the German and french guests who massively outnumbered us."

"Generally helpful staff can help provide assistance to make up for the staff - the bar comes to mind - who stay busy disappearing into back rooms to avoid the guests. But the helpful staff members well make up for their more elevated colleagues."

"We spent three nights at this hotel and experienced both positives and areas for improvement.
On the downside, our room felt quite dated and was only cleaned twice during our stay. We encountered a few issues that detracted from our overall comfort. The air conditioning was broken, and we were unable to open the balcony in the evenings because several stray cats (around five or six) roamed the area and would eagerly enter the room. While this wasn’t a major concern during the cooler season in Tunisia, it could become problematic in the summer. In that case, opting for a room on the first or second floor might help ensure more secure and usable balcony access.
The dining options offered a good selection—including fresh fish—but fell short in one area. The bread served was stale and appeared to have been left out overnight before being offered to guests the next day.
One of the hotel’s appealing features is its direct access to a lovely beach. However, this advantage was somewhat marred by the constant presence of local vendors. These individuals frequently approached guests with offers for camel rides and quad bike adventures, with prices varying noticeably based on the guest’s country of origin.
Overall, our stay met our basic needs at a reasonable price. However, improvements in room maintenance and attention to guest comfort—especially regarding air conditioning and balcony usability—could significantly enhance the overall experience."
"The is our 2nd visit to Djerba and this hotel which a lovely small hotel with great atmosphere provided by the staff who are always friendly and smiling. Most of the staff can speak in multiple languages which makes things convenient. Great location right on the beach and near the best stretches of beach. Breakfast is ok as they don't rotate the buffet selection but there is a omelette station which helps.
The hotel was quiet at times we were the only guests at dinner which we didn't mind.
