"The property was hot. The AC in the room was working when we got there but at night it was blowing hot air. The breakfast could have been better. The tv didn’t work. When we tried to check out the guy at the front desk was gone. Another worker called him and put him on speaker phone. I was telling him we wanted to check out , he said he wouldn’t be back at the hotel for another 30 to 45 minutes but we had to get on the road and to just leave our room number and email address and he would email the receipt. When I got home that evening to check my credit card account I had been charged twice for one night. I called Lewis said the first charge was for no call no show. I said we were there 2 hours before check in and was told to come back at 3 that doesn’t make sense. He said one of the charges should drop the following day. I woke up to check my credit card account again and I had been charged a third time. I called again and was told I had to wait till Monday after 9 for the manager to help. I will never stay at this property again."

"There wasn't anything extraordinary about the hotel. However, I did appreciate the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendly staff. It's always nice to have decent (free) breakfast as well. Overall, I would stay here again."

"Filter on the air conditioner needed to be cleaned, so the room didn't get very cold. We stayed in a non smoking room but the whole 2nd floor smelled like smoke. "

"Check-in and check-out was very easy, staff was friendly, and they gave us a gift bag with 2 waters and chips. The room was very cute and clean, had fridge, microwave, kitchenette with sink, coffee maker with coffee and all the fixings. The outdoor area had swings, benches, chairs, and a grill with plenty of lighting. Breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from like eggs, sausage, tater tots, fruit, pastries, waffles, yogurt, cereal, milk, juice, etc... Only 10 minutes away from downtown Houston. I highly recommend!"

"The price is reasonable, and the hotel itself is clean, but it did not meet expectations. Breakfast was very limited—only four muffins were available, and the juice was extremely watered down. There was also no Wi-Fi during the stay, which was a major downside. The staff also seemed disengaged and uninterested in guest experience. They often stayed locked in the office, and the common area was consistently closed off, making it inaccessible to guests. If you’re just looking for a quick overnight stay, it may be fine for one to two days. However, for anything longer, I wouldn’t recommend this location. While it is conveniently located off the highway, there’s not much else nearby."
