"My family did an 8-days ring road of Iceland in early April 2026, and this place/villa was, out of all the 7 hotels, hands down best hotel we stayed. My husband who doesn't usually leave reviews asked me to post a review for this place! Everything was spotless clean, modern and well equipped. We could definitely feel the owners' thoughtful touches throughout the villa (wooden chess set, warm blanket, olive oil for cooking, artistic coffee/tea cups, Reykjavik candle company 'hotel-lobby' room...

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Great views of Akureyri and the northern lights. The room was spotless. Staff were very helpful - we asked about wine and beer as the bar wasnt open in winter. They got us a bottle of wine and some beers which was great as it was my partners birthday. "

"We got there just as a winter storm was coming up, and the staff were very kind to check us in 3 hours before our check-in time. The apartment was fantastic. I travelled with 4 family members, and there was plenty of space for us all. Beds are really nice and comfortable. Apartment was clean. And the price was fantastic as well, all the other hotels in the area are VERY expensive. And this was an apartment with akitchen and all!! This is a great option for a large group. Would definitely stay...
