"It turned out we didn't actually spend the night at the hotel, but we have stayed there before. Our electricity went out and we thought we needed a hotel for the night, but it got restored before they told us it would, so we gave up the room for someone else who needed it. We did pay for the room, however, since it was nonrefundable. But that was okay."
