"Just returned from a 4 night stay here. The hotel is well located, a few hundred yards from the bus and train stations and just a short walk into the main town centre. There is also a small chain supermarket just over the road which was useful and a bar and bakery. The room we had was nice but a few small issues such as the curtains not being fully attached so were hanging incorrectly. We also had to report a lamp which was loose and was far too low above your head when lying in bed - this was fixed for us however. The room we had was nice, not spacious but the shower & bed were excellent. The staff we met / engaged with were all absolutely lovely and very warm & helpful. Despite a couple of small issues, we would stay here again if visiting Santander for the location & the staff."

"Immaculate room despite the fact that it had no windows. If that doesn't bother you, this place is quite good. Terrific bathroom. Large shower area. Good lighting (a big plus for me as I like to read in bed before turning in for the night) and the room size was more than adequate. Furnishings were superior. All in all, a very good one-night stay experience. The only downside is that you need to check your messages and follow the codes and proper instructions once the check-in time arrives. If you plan to arrive late (which was my case) it's a good idea to call and let them know your estimated time of arrival. They appreciate that. Upon leaving the premises you basically close the door to your room, leave the key at the ersatz front desk, close the main door, take the elevator, and let yourself out. A lot of rigamarole but this lack of human beings on the premsises is how so many places operate these days. Sigh... I miss the pre-internet days. Despite my reservations about the lack of the full human element, I definitely give this property a two thumbs up. Enjoy. And Santander is quite cool."

"If you are happy to take a 15 minute walk into the city centre, this is a great location, on the edge of the city easier to get to than some city centre hotel, parking is great as was our spacious clean room. I didn't need to bother the staff, but they were friendly, helpful & on hand if required. Breakfast was excellent, no cooked items (not a problem) but more than enough of everything to start your day. A place to stay again and again."

"All wonderful for the price. The staff were so friendly. Checkin was great and loved that the key was on your phone. The normal beds had a nice firm mattress, the window had great blinds that kept light out. Lots of space in wardrobes. Shower pressure was great (shower curtain not so great at keeping water out the bathroom). Towels provide along with small toiletries such as mini soap blocks and single use bodywash and shapoo in one, Had a TV and mini kitchenette. Good lighting in the room.with bedside tables and lights. Lots of charge points too. We were in the 5th floor with 1 quick lifts availble. Area was great, a coffee and bakery shop less than a minute away, along with two bars that were very cheap. Its around 30 minutes to the harbour and 15 minutes to closest set of resturants. The area is pretty flat with no major hills. The only niggle which we didn't raise with the hotel was that the additional bed in our triple room was very loud when ever you moved."
