"Good location on the less busy side of Brooks bridge with an easy drive to nearby parks. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and professional."

"Key security access for elevator use is good. Room was nice and comfortable. Upholstery needs some attention. Breakfast was good. Vending machines were iffy and front desk purchases are $$. Parking is easy and its a short walk onto the beach. I'd definitely stay there again. "

"The room was clean and the shower was wonderful. Hot water and lots of pressure. We had to get our on towel s and toiletries when we ran out. No housekeeping visited our room. 3,night stay. You have to pay a third party for parking which was $15.00 a day plus taxes. The balcony view was great, the beds were soft and the room was quiet. "

"Parking was on the street. It did not feel secure. The area is industrial and it was very dark. The is one actual parking place that is the handicapped spot. The listing says free self parking, which is technically not a lie, but it is VERY deceiving. Im from the area and i would not have picked this place if I knew the parking situation. Parking is almost NEVER an issue and I was very disappointed. "

"We were welcomed by the staff and our room was ready when we arrived at 12:10 p.m. I had registered online and did not have to wait for the 4 p.m. normal checkin. No early check in fees. The location was excellent, beach view with balcony. Parking was easy but $25 per day. Our room was clean. Refrigerator and microwave in room and coin laundry available on our 5th floor, and possibly on each floor."

"Everything was good. I was not happy about paying to park at a hotel I just spent over 3k for. That’s the first time I have ever had to do that on vacation. Thanks Jeff k"

"Everything was ok except there being pink mold in the bathroom and the air from the A/C smelled like mildew. The elevators weren’t operating well. There was a delay of the doors opening when stopping at each floor. Sometimes you would have to press the floor number again for it to open. There were two but one wasn’t working majority if the time. "

"Clean rooms, it seems like there is not a lot of parking, but there is a lot next to the property that can be used. Swimming pool available and clean. "

"The staff was very accommodating! Check-in was beyond easy. Beautiful unobstructed ocean views! The food at the poolside bar is great as well. We enjoyed the brunch twice. Felt quite safe with 2 young children. Will most definitely be back!"

"Stayed at the The Island Resort at Fort Walton Beach and was very disappointed. The hotel is outdated and feels more like a 2-star than a 4-star. The rooms and common areas were not very clean, and the towels and linens looked worn and dirty. There was even sand around the bed, which made it seem like the room wasn’t properly cleaned. Housekeeping also threw away my personal item, which was frustrating. The only positives were the ocean view and the food trucks. Overall, the pricing does not...
