"Needed something affordable near Chicago for a work trip and this fit the bill. It does seem the property has been recently updated, but overall felt unclean and the location was not the best. Stayed two nights and both nights experienced constant sirens and police presence outside. On the morning we left, police had shut down the entire road forcing us to find a different route to where we needed to go. The room itself was also not great- microwave and fridge both had an unpleasant smell, found crumbs on the furniture and floor, stains on the bedsheets and towels, hair (not ours) in the shower and what looked like black mold along the ceiling in the bathroom. Not the absolute worst, but I would not stay here again."
