The room was cozy and well maintained, and we truly enjoyed how peaceful and relaxing the atmosphere was. We were very happy with our experience and would definitely stay here again. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and peaceful place to stay. We loved it!"

"The receptionists were wonderful. Because we were not sure if we could check in on time, I called and explained our time issues over the phone with the first receptionist. She was very understanding of our situation and assured me that all would be well by doing the checking that way. When we arrived later that night, everything was indeed ready for us. The second receptionist knew exactly who we were and received us as if we were old friends already. The next morning, our family enjoyed a great breakfast with a menu our grandchildren loved. The 2 reserved bedrooms were perfectly clean, comfortable, and spacious. We will definitely come back whenever we come to visit Nauvoo, in Illinois, with its pageants. The proximity of the hotel at Fort Madison makes it very convenient."
