"A lovely historic hotel in downtown Cedar Falls where I was born and raised. My grandmother actually worked as a housekeeper here around 1914. The room was quaint and had lovely antique furniture. I was put off though that there was a charge for water as it is usually complimentary. There was a jacuzzi tub but it did not seem to work. The entry door was very difficult to open and I twice had to return to the desk to get help. It would take a shoulder to get it open so not optimal for someone who...

"Upon check in at 5 pm, our room floor was so wet our child slipped and fell immediately. We smelled marijuana so strongly at 6 pm I reported it and received no response, it was so strong we left the hotel. The pull out couch had a stain and half the linen was missing to make it up with. The room above ours had people jumping until 3 am, I reported via text line with no response then made 2 separate phone calls to the front desk hours apart to notify them. We had 2 white noise machines as...
