"Chesapeake Beach Resort is overall a wonderful property that provided us with exactly the vacation we were hoping for. As some others have mentioned, the property is not impressive upon first viewing but once you arrive and begin to experience the facility you understand how nice it is. Many reviewers have mentioned the wonderful breakfast and we can do nothing but echo their opinions. The made to order breakfasst options are great. You can get omelets exactly as you like them. Coffee and juices are available as are cereals, bagels, and muffins. The best part of the breakfast for us was the service. My wife was using a walker or wheelchair during our visit and Chris and Jose (the main breakfast chefs) each made sure she was able to get her food out to our table with no issues. They were so friendly and provided service much beyond any reasonable expectation! Eating breakfast out by the lagoon was great as well. The views are amazing. The room was exactly as described. It was larger than we expected with a great bed and the bathroom was well equipped. The ADA compliant shower was great for my wife! There was a fully equipped small kitchen that we didn't use very much. Housekeeping came daily and brought fresh towels and cleaned and made the bed. The pools were very nice as is the beach area. The beach is not a smooth sandy beach, it's coarse sand as you see all over the Keys. The only complaint we have is that the hot tub did not work while we were there."

"This is a pretty property that is near the water and several restaurants. Our room was overlooking the boat ramp, which we weren't expecting and someone was cleaning their boat right below us for several hours. For some reason they have speakers all around the property that were planning music until sunset, even though not many people were around and there are rooms right there. If you like music, you'll probably like it, if you want quiet, perhaps not. The staff were nice. The breakfast pretty basic so we didn't eat there. I personally wouldn't stay there again but some might like it. We did have a few ants in our room (not too disturbed by it due to it being Florida). The kitchen is convenient."

Overall, it was an unforgettable visit, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable outdoor experience."
