I am pleased to have found Burckin Suleymaniye after an unfortunate experience at a different hotel. All staff was professional and courteous; they went above and beyond to make sure that my stay is comfortable, and I get a much needed rest. Looking forward to coming back to Burckin Suleymaniye on my next visit to Istanbul.

Attention, quand vous réservez via l’hôtel le transport jusqu’à l’aéroport. Nous nous sommes retrouvés sans van à 4h du matin. La réservation n’a pas été faite malgré le paiement en liquide et en euros la veille (il n’acceptait pas la carte). Veilleur de nuit extrêmement désagréable il faut insister pour le réveiller et lui demander de l’aide (dort de tout son long dans le canapé). Il n’a pas très envie et souffle beaucoup. Il nous soutenait que nous n’avions pas réservé et rien payé. Ou est notre argent ? … peut-être ailleurs que dans la caisse de l’hôtel. Notre erreur ? ne pas avoir demandé de reçu. Nous nous retrouvons donc dans un taxi commandé à la va vite par je ne sais qui. Nous avons donc payé une prestation de service onereuse (van privée, tout confort) pour rien. Pas d’excuses et en prime on a gentiment été mis à la porte par le veilleur de nuit car je cite «  c’est pas ma faute et pas mon problème ». Dans les commentaires je peux voir «  personnel très présent : alors oui ils regardent beaucoup la télévision, le téléphone et font acte de présence dans le hall lorsqu’ils dorment.

Great location and stay for price, only downside is you are directly near a praying mosque and they will be blasting the prayer through the speaker pretty much every hour from 5am til 10pm. Not bad if you are a heavy sleeper I suppose.

Situata in zona alta e panoramica, molto tranquilla, vicino a zona universitaria, quindi accessibile a quartieri con servizi di ristorazione, mercati, mezzi pubblici. A 100 metri vi è poi una meravigliosa moschea. Ha una splendida veranda per la colazione con un panorama suggestivo. Direi che il rapporto qualità/prezzo è buono. Lo consiglio.

Das kleine Stadthotel Buckin Süleymaniye liegt phantastisch zentral im St) adtteil Sultanameth, direkt neben der Süleymaniye Moschee. Es sind viele Sehenswürdigkeiten gut fußläufig zu erreichen. Wir sind oft am Abend noch bis an die Galata Brücke und Neue Moschee gelaufen. Auch Metro und Straßenbahn sind gut erreichbar. (Station Vezneciler) Vom Frühstücksraum hat man einen wunderbaren Blick auf die Süleymaniye Moschee. Wir hatten eines der kleineren Standardzimmer, es war für 2 Personen völlig ausreichend. Im Zimmer stehen ein Wasserkocher mit Tee und Kaffee, sowie ein Tresor zur Verfügung. Der Pflege- und Reinigungszustand der Zimmer ist nicht mit mitteleuropäischen Standards zur vergleichen. Man ist hier eher etwas „oberflächlich“. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und umfangreich und wurde fortlaufend aufgefüllt. Auch wenn das Angebot täglich gleich ist, ist die Auswahl so umfangreich, dass man selbst jeden Tag gut variieren kann. Das Personal war jederzeit freundlich und aufmerksam. Der Frühstücksraum ist ganztägig als Aufenthaltraum geöffnet und es steht kostenfrei Kaffee, Tee und Wasser zur Verfügung. Am Abend findet man in der direkten Umgebung viele Restaurants mit Dachterrasse und guter Speisenauswahl.

Great hotel but basic, hence the cheap prices. Clean, tidy and super friendly staff. I would stay again. Great central location, but be warned. No taxis seem to be able to find this hotel, so id recommend walking to your destination if able, or get a taxi from the coffee shop at the end of the road instead.

I recently stayed at Burckin Suleymaniye and had a mixed experience. On the plus side, the location was excellent - within walking distance to all major attractions, dining, and entertainment options. The staff were also friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. However, the room itself was a disappointment. It was smaller than I expected, which made it feel cramped and claustrophobic. The bed was also uncomfortably hard, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Despite these issues, I would still consider staying at this hotel again due to its fantastic location and great staff. However, I would recommend that the hotel considers upgrading its mattresses and perhaps offers room size options to cater to different traveler needs.

The hotel was in a quiet area next to Suleymaniye mosque and the university area. Several places to eat nearby and walking distance into town, the markets etc. The staff were all very helpful and kind. Our room was small but had everything that we needed, and it was quiet, without any traffic noise. The buffet breakfast was good and the breakfast room had amazing views in all directions.

We loved the hotel and it's unique character. It is in the fascinating streets of the Old Town but we found it quiet and peaceful. It is very close to the Suleyimanye mosque, which is beautiful to visit and announces prayers at 5am to 9.30pm. It is also in walking distance of so many of the attractions in the Old Town like the wonderful Spice Market, the famous Mosques and the Grand Bazaar. The Valens viaduct and the water is not far away so you can walk everywhere. A really great location. Breakfast has a good range of food and plenty of it and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here.

The staff and location are amazing. The room is so small. It was an immense inconvenience for us. However when you overlook the room size and the dark shower, you see a very clean and well kept hotel room. Definitely the cleanest I have seen. If you want a hotel that is a 30 minute walk from everything and in a great location with a great view. Go here. If you rely on public transport and taxi I would recommend somewhere else. Walking back here at night was scary almost every night with very weird people on the streets coming up to you and begging for money. However, that being said this hotel is pretty good considering the price and location. We really enjoyed it.

Das Hotel befindet sich in einer engen Straße wo wenig Verkehr ist.,deshalb auch sehr ruhig ist. Vorteil es befindet sich sehr nah zum Eminönü. Wenn man den berg runter.gelaufen ist kann als mit den öffentlichen Mitteln sowie der Fähren/Schiffe erreicht werden. Ayasofia und die Blaue Moschee sind zu Fuss zu erreichen, ca 20 min. Allerdings ist der Rückweg anstrengend, weil es steil bergauf geht. Da der Weg zum Hotel auch durch die oberen Straßen von Eminönü führt , sind Abends ab 19.00 Uhr wenig Geschäfte offen und die Straßen sind sehr leer. Von der Frühstücksterasse ist die Aussicht wunderschön. Teils sieht mann den Bosporus, und die Süleymaniye Camii, Das Frühstück hatte nichts außergewöhnliches aber vollkommend ausreichend. Sauberkeit war gut. Natürlich sehen einige Sachen gebraucht aus, aber es reicht aus für den Gebrauch. Vorallem weil wir am Abend nicht vor 21 Uhr zurück waren und morgens schon kurz vor 9 raus gingen. Istanbul lohnt sich definitiv, am meisten wenn vom Hotel aus alles gut erreichbar ist. Wir würden das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Man ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß am Hafen, von dort kann man alles erreichen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und beim Frühstücksbuffet ist wirklich für jeden was dabei.

Die Lage und das Personal war wirklich top, ABER man hört wirklich jedes Geräusch in dem Hotel. Von obendrüber, von nebenan, die Hoteltür (quitscht sehr laut) und wir haben extrem schlecht geschlafen. Außerdem war unsere Klimaanlage defekt (wir haben sie nicht mal gebraucht) und hat obwohl sie aus war die ganze Zeit (also wirklich 24/7) gegluckert, gerauscht, komische surr Geräusche gemacht. Ich würde ja sagen, „jo zum pennen reichts“ aber wie gesagt, zum pennen ist das halt eigentlich nix. Empfehlung für alle die das Hotel buchen wollen, weil es ziemlich zentral ist: Oropax! Nette kleine Unterkunft, nur wenige hundert Meter von der Süleymaniye Moschee entfernt. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Das Zimmer war sauber, tolles Frühstück. Der Frühstücksraum ist im obersten Geschoss mit Blick auf die nahe Moschee. Die wichtigsten Attraktionen sind zu Fuß in 15-20 Minuten zu erreichen. Das Hotel hat einen Shuttlebus von/zum Flughafen für insgesamt 100€ (für alle Personen) angeboten, das hat wunderbar geklappt. => Würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen!

The hotel was exactly as shown in the pictures. It’s strategic to go around the city and really close to the Gran bazar. We really enjoyed staying here.

Great location only 15 minutes walk to the the Grand Bazaar. Close to all of the historical sites in the old town. Some nice places to eat just a few minutes walk away. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay .
