"We really enjoyed our stay at The Splendor and would stay again. The hotel is in a great location, close to shopping and restaurants. It's also a short walk to the botanical gardens. Our room was very clean. It's an older hotel so a bit shabby in places. Scuff marks on the walls for example. Also the beds are very hard, but I was told this is typical in that area. Overall a lovely stay though."

Staff were nice and easy to work with (just remember this isn't a 5-star hotel, so don't expect 5-star service). We enjoyed our stay. Only con is the w/c could use more ventilation. It had a musty smell. Overall, the hotel room was very clean. Would stay here again."
