"Everything except breakfast is what a 5 star should be. Breakfast is sit down, which is great. But range of what is on offer like the juices, the protein is limited. Gluten free bread was schar, would expect something better at these prices. Other than that, hotel is faultless. Mediterranean restaurant run by chef Alex is very good. Rooms, better than the best hotels in the world. Clientele- no loud Americans which is a surprising and pleasant break from the rest of the hotels in Europe. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at El Pilar. It is right in the middle of everything = perfect location. It is a stunning property, the rooms are great, and the restaurants on site were all excellemt. We were very happy with our stay overall. We did have problems with the validating of the parking (they did not have any validated passes to give us costing us 5 euros a night) that was not handled well by the staff. But even this could not put a damper on our enthusiasm for this place!"

If you want to feel you are living in a traditional Andalusian home with a glorious courtyard and have modern conveniences, this is your place. I will certainly return when next in Estepona."

"Incredible hotel. Very fancy, lovely room, great breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helped me with taxis and translation. I ordered room service during my stay, there was a great selection of meals, it arrived quickly and was delicious. I was only here for two nights during the off season for a wedding, so didn’t experience the pool or much of the local area, so I can only review the hotel itself, and I am incredibly happy with my stay here. I would definitely come back again. "

"This is our third stay this year at Estepona Hills. We love it, the location, the apartment, the amenities and most importantly all the staff. Wherever you are; at the blue bar, the gym or reception all staff are friendly and amazing."

"Super nice. Quiet. We stayed two nights. Wanted an additional night, but if was fully booked. I’m not a pool person, but spending some time at the pool side with a book and my girlfriend as the only company was nice. Yet, the pool is small and the area simple. No luxury, other the Mountain View and the quiet. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Kitchen ok. Not top notch. This hotel was still way better than many four and even five stars hotels I’ve stayed at. "

"Unheard of for us, but we decided to come back to this hotel after a week holiday last year. Everything about this hotel is superb. Reception staff, restaurant staff, bar staff, cleaning staff. My only gripe is that we asked for a room upgrade (as an Expedia platinum member) but were told that all the higher grade rooms were full. This wasn’t the case as we could clearly see that the suite we had last year was unoccupied for the duration of our stay. "
