"Rooms were clean. Friendly staff. I hear they have a nice golf course. I don't play golf, so I wouldn't personally know. However, I was there for a tennis tournament and they have both hard and clay courts. So that was a nice experience. The view I had from the room was not the best, that is to say I didn't really have a view because it was a roof of a building next to us. Other than I would stay here again."

"Overall it was an enjoyable night stay. Checking prompts at 4pm. Got to the room and it was at a comfortable temperature. Room was newly renovated and the staff was helpful. Even called the room about 45 minutes later to make sure all was good. A little loud with the swimming pool right out our room but eventually was able to rest well. A few little things was the squeaky door for the bathroom. Was disruptive in the middle of the night. The semi private patio sounded great but the chairs had cobwebs and other debris on them which made it uninviting. Would have been nice to have more than one light switch for the bathroom just for lower lighting at night. But again, overall a restful night. Hot tub and pool great temps for middle of August in Texas. Complimentary breakfast was good as well. Typical of what most hotels seem to offer. Well done."

"We had a great time. The cabin was too freaking cute. The set up was amazing. It was clean and had everything we needed. It was kid friendly and staff communicated in a timely manner. Will be coming back for sure 😊"

"We loved our stay at Walden Retreats. Becky checked us in and was so welcoming and informative of our tent and things to do while we were there. I was worried that the tent would be warm in the first of August, but we kept the shades down during the day and the fans on. My husband and I actually woke up cold in the morning, so we were just fine. I couldn't believe how clean the tent itself was. They had special touches like robes, luxury bath towels, and fantastic smelling shampoo and conditioner. We enjoyed making smores by the fire and sleeping in the next morning. My husband told me before we left that he wants to come when it gets a little colder to be there during a different season."

"Well there were no blankets in the room for an extra on the bed the coffee pods didn’t get refilled near the coffee maker and whoever came and cleaned didn’t put new cups and glasses in the room had to go get coffee in the office and they were out of cream"
