"Don’t trust the photos on the webpage. The cabins are close to falling apart. In ours you couldn’t properly close the window and one of the kitchen benches was broken. Paint was peeling off the walls and the cabin had a weird, musty smell. Staff was friendly, but not very quick. Upon check-in we had to wait for more than 30 min to get the key even though it was already 5:30pm by the time we arrived (at least we got a free ice cream for the long wait). "We only had one night in Ribe with our two teenage children, so wanted accommodations with plenty of space. Storkesøen was perfect! We had a large a-frame cabin with three bedrooms and a full kitchen. it was so nice to hit the grocery store and be able to come back and make dinner and breakfast. Kitchen was well-equipped with all the basics. We did have to pay additional per person rate for linens (bath towel and sheets) but traveling from overseas it required. "Clean basic hotel with a great central location. Just a 10 minute walk to the train or the airport 925X bus stop. The tourist sites are just steps away. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom is very small but functional. If you plan on just sleeping in the hotel and the rest of your time site seeing, this a good option. "
