"Location, location, location. We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful property which is located just minutes away from everything Gettysburg. We stayed in the Kentucky Suite in the historic Welty House, and it did not disappoint. It was the perfect place for our seven night stay. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and went out of their way to make our visit memorable. The grab-and-go breakfast was a plus. We highly recommend staying here on your next visit to this amazing town.

"Our stay was great from check-in to check out. The building is older but very well maintained and clean. We traveled with our small dog and have to say that they have a very reasonable pet fee of $25. Plenty of grassy areas for pet relief with friendly signs reminding people to clean up after their pets.
The location is ideal as it is in walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and historical sites. The breakfast spread was a great variety and the breakfast crew kept the food stocked, fresh, and area clean.
Our room was very clean and well maintained. While there is no microwave in the room, there is one available in the hotel lobby for use. Maybe not as many modern frills as some chains, but we found this hotel to be an excellent choice and even joined their loyalty program. "
