"As a first time bnb guest, I loved it. James and Connie were very welcoming and made for great conversation during breakfast with the other guests. So much history in the house and area. We spent most of our time in Abingdon - antiquing, dining, and the barter theater. Apparently there's much to discover in Damascus for next time though! We valued the private bathroom in the honeymoon suite, but FYI does not have a shower just a tub, but there was a public shower down the hall. Thanks guys...

"Breakfast was very good! Variety different mornings, staff very helpful and friendly yet professional, perfect decorations for the fall. We will be back, and I loved the suite that we stayed in. "

"We have stayed in lots of B&Bs, but this lodge is the most beautiful we have ever seen. It is hard to describe how amazing it is and everything was just perfect. We loved staying here. The manager, Bobbie, was just so wonderful and we enjoyed talking with her, and her recommendations for places to visit were great. We felt at home here, and would very highly recommend staying here. We hope to return! 10 out of 10 all around!! "

"Such a beautiful property! The house is gorgeous, views are beyond stunning, bed was so comfy and the private balcony was unbeatable. John and Marsha are just lovely, and I can honestly say, they have one of the BEST breakfasts I have ever had at a B&B!! We will definitely be back!"
