"We instantly noticed their beautiful cat, Mumu, when we checked in. It was nice to feel so welcomed as not all "pet friendly" places are friendly to cats as well as dogs. Christina could not have been nicer! When she realized we had 2 cats, she switched our room to the first floor to make it easier for us to settle in. We stayed four days and got additional coffee, cups and clean towels. We had been worried that our cats would escape if someone cleaned the room while we were away but she assured us that no one would clean unless we wanted them to. I borrowed a broom to sweep up the sand. The room had everything we needed - small frig, microwave, coffee pot. There is a Dollar Tree right across the street which was handy to purchase any extra items we forgot to bring. The path to the beach is a little hike but very pleasant. There is an extra area with a ping pong table and games that would be especially nice for kids as well as a grill and tables for eating. I would definitely stay again."
"Hotel Alice was nice. Great location close to shopping and restaurants very close to the aquarium! Rooms were clean but a little outdated definitely could use a makeover but overall a nice place to stay!"
"For the price and location, this is someplace I have returned to several times. the outdoor gazebo is a favorite spot when there is a breeze to sit for the afternoon or to watch the sun set. The rooms have plenty of space and the fridge, sink and microwave are convienent for longer stays. Each room is different in set up and decor, with varied views and balconies. Last stay had the first floor room at the pool. That wasn't great for privacy or quiet. Not sure how you can reserve or request different rooms, but something to consider if you want to be able to keep the curtains open. Parking is available but some spaces are short for bigger vehicles (full size trucks and SUV's). Staff is helpful and very accomodating. There is a dock and boat launch, but don't know if those are available to guest or how to reserve if possible."
