"This year was the second year that I spent time at the Mariner. This year was not as good as the first year that I was there I was without hot water for almost 3 days. The main gate to the pool was never open on time 8 to 8:00 is when it's supposed to be open and I had to call to have it opened at 9:00 and 10:00 in the morning. "Great location if you like being in the busier area of Kill Devil Hills/Nags Head. Right on the beach and walking access to several restaurants and shops. Room was nice, clean, cold a/c, there was a walking deck with a nice sitting area to view the ocean and access the beach area with foot wash station. Kill Devill Grille right across the street. Bed was comfortable and nice smart TV."

"Close to beach, central location to all of the OBX. 7 eleven just a 5 min walk away. Steps away from beach. Fridge and microwave in room. Room on the smaller side but still comfortable for 2 adults and 1 teen. We stayed in 2 bed courtyard view room. Free parking, but spaces can fill up in the high season.
