"The location of this property is excellent and definitely its biggest advantage. It’s conveniently situated with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, shops, and transportation, making it a great base for exploring the area. Unfortunately, the interior of the property needs significant improvements. The bathroom feels outdated and could benefit from a thorough renovation, including better fixtures, improved ventilation, and overall maintenance. The kitchen also requires attention, as...

"The house is a good place to stay if you need ample room and want a quiet retreat in Saranac Lake. Its not on the water but within a short drive of downtown and the lakes. "A cozy cabin in the woods, only a brief walk away from the lake, and a comfortable fit for our family of 5. Very well stocked kitchen - we were able to cook all our meals easily. The property managers were extremely welcoming (a fresh pie in the fridge!) and very...

"Very clean, fresh coat of paint clean, very family friendly "

"We stayed at the”Blackhaus” January 19-23. The house was perfect for our 3 teenage boys and my wife and I. It is a bit off the road which offers serenity and peace. The house is well appointed and met all of our needs. It is located just about 8 minutes from whiteface ski resort and about 22 minutes to lake placid. I Will definitely stay here again. "
