"We rate Green Gable 10/10! It was a beautiful place to stay! It was top notch! Friendly and welcoming staff, room was very clean and comfortable, the landscaping was beautiful with all the flowers and areas to sit outside to enjoy that overlooks the Root River. Lanesboro had many nice shops and restaurants, a very historic town! We enjoyed spending 2 days on the bike trail We will be planning a trip back!"

"This is an old hotel, but well kept and has convenient free parking and right on the main shopping/dining street. We ate dinner at two lovely restaurants, just minutes away by foot. Also, the Norwegian Museum was well worth a visit and just a 5 minute walk. Nice bookstores, cookware stores and activewear stores nearby. We were tourists, and there’s plenty to do (walking trails and orchards at Seed Savers, a multitude of trails/parks, trout fishery) in the area for a long weekend."
